Wool Pot
Get your veggies, herbs and flower seedlings off to the best start by planting them in a wool pot. These completely biodegradable, 100% NZ-grown wool pots allow the roots of your plants to breathe and move, preventing them from becoming root-bound.
When ready to plant, dig the wool pot directly into your garden bed without removing the seedling from the pot. This reduces transplant shock, as the natural root structure remains undisturbed - leading to fewer losses and a healthy, strong root system. And as an added benefit, the wool pot feeds the soil and microbiology as is breaks down! Wool naturally contains 6+ essential nutrients, which are released as the wool decomposes & directly assist your plant's growth and development. Wool acts as a soil conditioner, releasing sulphur, nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium along with calcium (which helps to neutralise soil ph level).
If you want to go the extra mile, we'd recommend pre-soaking your wool pots in a liquid seaweed tonic. Then sit back and watch as your seedlings flourish with all those amazing nutrients!
